The Epic One Day Tragedy Of A Teen Vampire

Chapter 1- My name is Daniel

This sucks. How could I have let this happen again? my stupidity's got me in enough trouble already, why can't I just learn?
I sat on the school steps waiting for Alexis. She always gets here late.
I need to tell her. I can't stand her not knowing. But if I tell her...... No. I don't even want to think about that. I'll just tell her the other thing. But how would that affect us as friends? She already knows that I'm moving tomorrow, so how would she react? The pain of not knowing is almost as unbearable as the...... No. I seriously need to control my thoughts better. Forget it I don't even care anymore. A life time of pain would be worth it. For both things.
Something stabbed my cheek with unrelenting force and continued to poke me. "Are you just gonna sit there like a scare-crow? Or get up and destroy the school with me?" Alexis's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I stood up and glanced around. We were the only ones outside the building.
        Well she is always late......
"Sorry Lexi," I smiled. "I drifted off there for a moment." She was wearing a Toby Mac t-shirt that
was cut off at her belly button, a lime green undershirt, a blue jean skirt that went down to mid-thigh, a bottle cap belt, and hot pink converse. It all went so perfectly with her blonde curls, I swear, Aphrodite would be jealous.
"Umm.......... Hello? Earth to Edgar. Are you still there?" Lexi poked my cheek again, this time softer.
"Edgar? That's not my name and you know it. Lexi, my name is Daniel." I poked her back and headed into the school.
At least they don't count tardies on the last week of school.
I continued on down the halls to my first class, Lexi trailing aimlessly behind me. She was rambling on about how goats make cheese or something like that, I never know. I opened the door to Mr. Dean's class and almost died of a heart attack. This is going to be a long day.

Chapter 2- Lunch

Classes flew by without a problem, I mostly ignored what was going on. Why would I pay attention? The last day of school generally doesn't count too much.
"What's wrong, Daniel? You've been acting weird all day." Alexis touched my arm, shaking me back to attention.
It was lunch time, and I didn't touch my food, which kind freaked her out. Normally my food is gone within five minutes. There is no way I was eating with this feeling in my stomach.
I need to tell her. Like now
"Lexi, there's something That I really need to tell you." I turned to face her, but she was gone. The bell had rang, and I didn't realize it.
Great. Guess I'll just tell her right before I leave tomorrow.
I got up and went to my next class. I sat in my seat and stared at the whiteboard as Aladdin played. I'm surprised the teacher actually had a dvd copy of it. I remember the making of that movie, I was one of the art directors.
Something hit the side of my head. I glanced down at where it landed by my feet.
        Alexis.
        I opened the note.
       A- what's up?
       D- what do you mean?
A- you've been acting weird all day.
D- I'll tell you tonight meet me at I
       A- it's a date pick me up at 6
       D- deal
I couldn't help but smile. I was actually going on a date with the girl I'm in love with. If I blow this I won't be able to live with myself.

  1. This was the first short story I ever wrote. I decided to extend it and break it into short chapters. I hope who ever reads this likes it. ._.
